Most grant activity at Duquesne University seeks resource funding in the following areas:

Personnel | Fringe Benefits | Equipment | Supplies | Travel | Indirect Cost

Grant budget development should be guided by the project's resource needs, sponsoring agency guidelines and limitations, and Duquesne University policies and procedures. The principal investigator is the best person to determine resource needs and, generally, agency and University guidelines clearly state acceptable budgeting parameters.

Items to consider will be discussed in each category. If you have further questions or concerns that are not addressed in this section, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Research (Marian Holden ext. 1667).
