SR staff will not write a
proposal for a faculty member, but will provide
assistance in several ways. The following links provide excellent

Obtaining
application forms
SR maintains an updated file of application information
for specific federal and state grant programs,
as well as a supply of current agency-wide application
booklets for NSF and NIH. The Office handles requests
for application materials that are not already
on hand in the office.
Word processing
and typing
Faculty may request assistance with the typing
and word processing of application cover sheets,
budget pages, and other forms; they should have
their budgets approved by SR before submitting
them for typing.
Reviewing
and editing proposals
SR reviews all proposals before submission, checking
for completeness and adherence to application
guidelines and, when appropriate, offering editorial
suggestions. OR staff is available to read preliminary
drafts of proposals and to answer questions about
the sponsoring agency's policies and procedures.
